Quantum Cascade lasers are able to reach very high power emission over the entire
mid- and far-infrared spectrum, but as of today, they are still characterized by low efficiency when compared with currently available laser diodes operating in the near-IR.
Packaging Options
AdTech has developed the necessary mounting technology for handling their record high power lasers within standard packages that are commonly used in industrial applications.
C-Mount:
c-mounting is available for low- to mid-power lasers
CS-Mount:
CS-mounting is dedicated to high (0.5W) and ultra-high (1W and above) power lasers.
Laser Lab Module:
Both C-mounts and CS mounts can be incorporated into a laser module that supplies thermal control and that can be coupled with a laser diode power supply. Ask us for possible packaging and laser driver options.
